     Q. What is the New Star?
     A. The New Star was a harbinger of the Day Star. The New Star appeared a little more than 1,000 years before the events of The First Chronicle took place.

     Q. Why is Ahn-Hette hyphenated, while Ahn Swei is not?
     A. Han Din and Ahn Swei are farther east than Ahn-Hette. The farther east one travels, the more the dialect changes, as well as spelling. The farther eastern islands do not hyphenate names.

     Q. What happened to Gunar and Rithuk?
     A. James does not know; he can only chronicle his experiences.
